A Bundaberg North street named for a long-standing local family now bears the badge of the Australian Army under Council's Streets of Remembrance program.

While out on coastal maintenance duties last month Ashlin (Jacko) Chapman from Council's Parks team spotted a woman struggling in her kayak in rough seas. Thanks to Jacko’s quick thinking and sharp eye, a chain of events was set in motion that led to her safe rescue. Onya Jacko! 👏 Read more ⬇️
