If you’re undecided over whether to buy a dog or a cat from RSPCA Bundaberg, then perhaps Lady Jemima can fill the role of both for you.
Jemima, a Maine Coon cross female cat, is RSPCA Bundaberg’s Pet of the Week.
Much like a dog, Maine Coon cats love to be around the family and sometimes act like pack animals and, continuing with the canine comparisons, they are obedient and can be trained to come when called.
Lady Jemima has inherited the regal good looks of the breed and, although larger than most female cats, is not quite as big as a true Maine Coon.
Also typical of the breed, Lady Jemima is friendly and affectionate and enjoys spending time with people, especially when she is being pampered and groomed.
She is five years old and her adoption price is $300 which includes her desexing, microchipping, vaccinations and flea and worm treatments.
To adopt Lady Jemima visit the RSPCA Queensland’s Bundaberg website or phone RSPCA Bundaberg on 4155 1736, email bundaberg@rspcaqld.org.au or visit the shelter at 31 Doblo Street, Bundaberg.
