Softball Club put grant to good use
Last year Across the Waves Softball Club received a micro grant and put it to good use, according to Secretary Lee-Anne O’Leary.
“We used the grant for marquees and benches to assist in providing a sunsafe environment for our players,” Lee-Anne said.
Lee-Anne said the micro grant was definitely worth applying for.
“The micro grant application is easy to complete if you follow the guidelines.
“Once you have identified what your project or program is, obtained quotes and drafted a budget, the application form took about 15 to 20 minutes to complete.
“It’s great to see Bundaberg Regional Council offer financial assistance programs to support our community.
“I would encourage all organisations to access this funding to support their operations – up to $1,000 can provide a range of products.”
