The annual Mumma’s Nest Market is on again at the Bundaberg Multiplex just in time to grab a gift for Christmas.
The boutique market will be held over two days, Friday, 22 from 5.30 pm to 8 pm and Saturday, 23 November from 8 am to 1 pm, and raises money for a local charity.
Mumma’s Nest Market organiser Hannah Jacobs said the market was the perfect opportunity for the community to support locals who in return support local.
“Over the past few years, Mumma’s Nest has raised and donated over $40,000 to local charities to benefit our local community,” Hannah said.
“This year we are raising money for the Angels Community Group, helping families right across the area.
“The $2 entrance fee, as well as raffle proceeds, are directly donated to this very active charity helping so many families in the lead up to Christmas.”
Hannah said supporting local was the driving force behind Mumma’s Nest Market.
“Our purpose is to provide local small and micro businesses the opportunity to have a pop-up shop and sell their wares face-to-face with the public, while at the same time being able to support and raise much needed funds for local charities in Bundaberg,” she said.
Mumma’s Nest Market is a unique Christmas event for the whole family
Held in the Multiplex Hannah said it was the ideal location and the market would be the perfect place to relax and shop in comfort.
“We provide an indoor boutique market style shopping experience, in air-conditioned comfort, showcasing a wide range of beautifully handcrafted or manufactured products and services for children and families,” she said.
“With over 60 quality market stalls and free kids’ activities on offer, there is something for everyone at Mumma’s Nest Markets.”
Open on Friday night and Saturday morning, Hannah said the timeframes would cater to suit working families or sporting commitments
“Families can still come and check it out, or straight after work with friends so you can leave the kids at home!” Hannah said.
“Mumma’s Nest is always a lovely event for the whole family, and a great place to start Christmas shopping, all while supporting local businesses with unique and hard to find items.”
