Bundaberg continues to be home to one of Domino’s most generous stores, with the local team taking out the Domino’s for Good Award at an annual awards ceremony recently.
Presented to just one store across Australia and New Zealand, the award celebrates the Domino’s store that truly embraces the company’s Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) values through multiple proactive actions.
Within just 12-months, Domino’s Bundaberg donated 8,907 pizzas to those in need within their local community through the ‘Feed the Knead’ program, placing them as number one for donations in Australia and New Zealand.
Domino’s Bundaberg store manager Harrison Titmarsh said they were proud to be doing the right thing.
“On behalf of the entire team at Domino’s Bundaberg, we are incredibly honoured to receive the Domino’s for Good award for a second year in a row,” Mr Titmarsh said.
“This recognition is a testament to our commitment to our community and our dedication to making a positive impact, and we are deeply grateful to Bundaberg locals for their continued support.
“We are delighted to have donated almost 9,000 pizzas throughout 2024, and we’re not stopping there!
The team hope to hit 10,000 pizza donations in the year ahead, and since January they’ve already donated more than 2,100.
“Our team believes in the power of giving back, and we are proud to contribute to Domino’s ESG goals, whether through supporting local initiatives, providing meals to those in need, or simply brightening people’s day with a friendly smile – we are dedicated to making a difference,” Mr Titmarsh said.
“Thank you to our incredible community who embrace us with open arms.
“We look forward to many more years of delivering your favourite pizzas and making a positive impact in our community.”
