Bundaberg’s Johanna Boulevard is booming with new businesses, including Anaconda which is set to celebrate its grand opening with the community this weekend.
The camping, fishing and outdoor activity giant was approved for development by Bundaberg Regional Council last year and is situated in the Fantastic Furniture and OMF retail complex.
Anaconda Bundaberg Regional Manager Craig Edwards said he was looking forward to welcoming the public to the store tomorrow and shared some insights about the new business:

Our brand new Anaconda store on Johanna Boulevard is located in the new retail hub and will help bring the local community to this area.
It is also located near the airport so when locals and tourists step off the plane at Bundaberg Regional Airport, our giant orange Anaconda building can’t be missed.
How many staff have been hired?
The Anaconda Bundaberg store opening will boost the local economy by creating 40 new jobs across full-time, part-time, and casual roles, meaning our expert Anaconda team members will be ready to serve the Bundaberg community with their extensive outdoor and camping knowledge.
What can people expect at the grand opening?
The Anaconda Bundaberg store opening promises to be an exciting day out for everyone, especially families with kids.
The event will feature Triple M Radio ‘Spin the Wheel’ giveaways, a barbecue sausage sizzle cooked by the local Kepnock scout team, coffee van, face painting, ice cream van, and plenty of merch giveaways, prizes and exclusive grand opening deals!
