Turtle Odyssey
Discover the unique life cycle of an Australian green sea turtle named Bunji and her incredible journey across the open ocean.
Narrated by Russell Crowe, this documentary film is sure to evoke a sense of awe for these magnificent creatures of the sea.
Turtle Hour
Join residents and businesses in flicking the switch during Turtle Hour in support of the turtles that visit our shores.
It’s simple to get involved in this annual event which is hosted by Bundaberg Regional Council’s Reducing Urban Glow Initiative.
Just turn off your lights between the hours of 7.30 and 8.30 pm on Thursday 31 October.

Milbi @ Mon Repos
Closing the Milbi Festival is Milbi @ Mon Repos, celebrating the beginning of the Bundaberg Region’s turtle season.
Enjoy First Nations performances, entertainment and light refreshments as the importance of the Milbi to First Nations People is revealed.
Explore the vital role the Mon Repos Turtle Centre and the local community play in the conservation of this gentle species that are crucial to marine ecosystems.
