This year’s Taste Bundaberg Festival line-up includes a number of events that are sure to appeal to festival fans curious to try something new.

From dinners with a difference to berries fresh from the farm, the 10 day festival has something for everyone.

Indulge at The Deli

Returning event hosts The Deli, in Targo Street Bundaberg, have conceived two new events for this year’s festival.

A Glimpse of the Deli will be a relaxing night of wine and canapes, with each delectable dish featuring a glimpse of The Deli’s signature cheese products.

The Deli’s Fine Dining with a Difference promises to be a delight for the palate from the opening citrus cocktail and throughout the three course menu.

The carefully crafted dinner includes notes of citrus and spice, with baked cheese and house made products complementing the menu designed to indulge the senses.

Berry Delicious

Hillwood Berries at Burnett Heads are new to the Taste Bundaberg Festival program this year.

They are offering visitors a rare glimpse behind the scenes of their flourishing berry farm on an exclusive Berry Delicious Farm Tour.

Participants will tour the farm’s state of the art growing tunnels, tasting raspberries and blackberries plucked straight off the branches, while Hillwood Berries’ Harvest Manager and Senior Agronomist provide insights into processes from propagation to picking.

Tour participants will leave with a new appreciation for this fascinating industry, along with punnets of fresh berries to enjoy at home.

Seafood by the sea

Experience a seafood feast with the smell of salt in the air at Bundaberg Surf Club’s Sunset Feast @ Surf Club.

Take in the beauty of Bargara beach at sunset while enjoying a three course meal inspired by the ocean views and the abundance of fresh seafood caught in the region’s waters.

Guests will have a choice of main meal, including options other than seafood, along with entrée, salad, and dessert, with drinks available at club prices.
