BCC students to present Annie the Musical

Annie BCC
BCC will present three performances of Annie at the Shalom College Performing Arts Centre in July.

The sun will come out at Bundaberg Christian College as students get ready to shine in their performance of Annie when it hits the stage next month.

The show’s director and BCC drama teacher Nadine Myburgh said her cast and crew were ready to bring positivity, hope and a little bit of Broadway magic to Bundaberg.

“The character of Annie is an eternal optimist, but she also has a fair bit of spunk and determination,” Mrs Myburgh said.

“I think all of us can be inspired by this story about family, friendship, and hope for a brighter tomorrow.”

Mrs Myburgh said the cast includes students from Years 6 to 12 while the orchestra and crew include the broader BCC community including alumni and parents.

“We’ve also appreciated working with talented professionals from across the Bundaberg community with our choreography, costumes and set design,” she said.

“To put on a production of this size is no small undertaking, but I think audiences will enjoy the vibrancy of this show and you “can bet your bottom dollar” they’re in for a treat!”
