The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs are counting down the days until they return to the Bundaberg Region to face the Dolphins in the NRL Telstra Premiership Round 24 clash.
With just under eight weeks to go until the two teams descend on Bundaberg’s Salter Oval for the premier match, the Bulldogs landed in Bundaberg yesterday to announce the ticket release date and a brand new, exciting offer for Queensland residents who attend.
The August 17 event is to be played at Salter Oval and will mark the third NRL fixture to come to the Bundaberg Region with the support of the Bulldogs and Bundaberg Regional Council.
The match will not only offer traveling rugby league fans and locals alike access to thrilling first-grade action in the region but will also give attendees the chance to kick for up to $50,000 on match day.
Bulldogs CEO Aaron Warburton, Director Andrew Gifford along with current players Ryan Sutton, Karl Oloapu, and alumni Luke Goodwin, joined Bundaberg officials today to unveil this exciting initiative and announce the ticket release, set to launch online at Ticketek from Wednesday the 3 July.
Excitement builds for NRL game

“Events like these stimulate our economy by increasing tourism and creating jobs, both directly and indirectly.
“We look forward to a fantastic game and the many benefits it will bring to our community.”
Community, Liveability, Sport and Recreation portfolio spokesperson Cr Carmen McEneany said the premier-grade match would also encourage future sporting stars.
