A Bundaberg man is now a millionaire after purchasing a lucky winning lotto ticket from Station News in Bourbong Street.

The winner struggled to piece together the words to describe his newly-minted millionaire status after scoring division one in last night’s Weekday Windfall draw.

The local held one of the two division one winning entries, drawn Monday 20 May, and looks forward to a total $1 million.

“I’m speechless – so shocked,” he said.

“I found out about the win earlier this morning and I showed my wife and we just thought, ‘Right! What do we do with ourselves now?’.”

Despite becoming an instant millionaire, the winner couldn’t pinpoint any concrete plans for his prize but had a few ideas in mind.

“Honestly, I’m not too sure,” he said.

“Ah, there’s so many things I could do. I think I’m due for a holiday! That would be great.

“I could buy a new car, a new house – all of the above!”

The Station News team said they were thrilled to have sold a division one winning entry into the first Weekday Windfall draw and wished the recipient all the best with the prize.

The winning numbers in Weekday Windfall draw 4392 on Monday 20 May 2024 were 30, 9, 25, 3, 31 and 35, while the supplementary numbers were 43 and 15.

Across Australia, there were two division one winning entries in Weekday Windfall draw 4392 – both in Queensland.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 364 so far in FY24, including 84 won by Golden Casketcustomers.
