Fans will be a little more comfortable on the edge of their seats at the next sporting clash at Salter Oval thanks to replacement seating throughout the grandstand.
Bundaberg Regional Council has replaced all 607 seats due to general wear and tear, with more durable models installed to include a double back layer.
All the new seats also have numbering for ticketed events and are in a uniform dark blue colour to facilitate future replacement needs and ensure optimal colourfastness.
The project focused on reusing and recycling as many seats as possible with old seats in the best condition selected for resale at the Materials Recovery Facilities in University Drive and Qunaba.
The project has now been completed with the next public sporting fixture due to take place on 13 April.
