Visitors to this year’s Taste Bundaberg Festival can enjoy all the fun of a picnic, with none of the planning stress, at one of The Picnic Basket’s Pop Up Picnic events.
Get together a group for a family and friend’s picnic, seating up to eight guests, or enjoy an extra special date night with a romantic picnic for two.
More than just a dining occasion, The Picnic Basket’s Amanda Gazdagh said the Pop Up Picnic events offer a touch of magic.
“It’s an experience,” Amanda said.
“We can create atmosphere outside with our stylish romantic and family orientated settings, no matter where you are.”
“Guests are greeted at the picnic and shown to their individually decorated setup, where they will find their grazing platter to share and relax into their surroundings.”
Guests will learn of their picnic location two days before the event, adding an element of mystery to the occasion.
“We get to have the best views in Bundaberg because we can setup anywhere with front row seats, whether that be by our amazing coastline or on the Hummock overlooking our beautiful region,” Amanda said.
“We are also spoilt with many beautiful gardens and parks, (including) Schukraft Park in Bargara, Barolin Rocks, Coral Cove, and the Botanical Gardens Bundaberg.”
Each picnic includes a sweet and savoury charcuterie platter catered by The Grazing Co Bundaberg, crammed full of delicious fare sourced primarily from local artisan producers, including Taste Bundaberg Festival favourites Cha Cha Chocolate, Macadamias Australia and Gooburrum Grove.
Pop Up Picnics will be held at various locations throughout the region, Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons during the Taste Bundaberg Festival, from 4 August to 13 August.
Date Night tickets $270, Friday 4 and 11 August.
Family tickets $450, Saturday 5 and 12 AND Sunday 6 and 13 August.
