Breakfast to focus on driving investments

Bundaberg Business Breakfast
Economic Development Specialist with .id Katrina Houghton and Senior Economist with AEC Group Jonathan Pavetto will be this month’s Bundaberg Business Breakfast guest speakers.

Tickets are now on sale for the June Bundaberg Business Breakfast which will focus on the theme of driving investments: trends and data.

Guest speakers including Economic Development Specialist with .id Katrina Houghton and Senior Economist with AEC Group Jonathan Pavetto will be in attendance to pass on their knowledge.

The Bundaberg Regional Council initiative brings together the thriving business community to network, collaborate and learn from experts across the wide array of industries present throughout the region.

This month’s experts will share insight into the region’s economic trends to provide context on the influencing factors for population and visitation trends that have occurred in our region between 2021 and 2022.

In addition, Katrina will go into the annual State of the Region dataset which will provide further context to the impact of Covid and migration into the region.

Lastly, Jonathan will discuss how the data collated during a hotel demand analysis in our region paints the picture of the opportunity for new hotel investment in the region.

About the Bundaberg Business Breakfast

This Bundaberg Business Breakfast trial began in March 2023 with the theme of sustainability.

In April the network learned about commercial and charitable partnerships and in May, small businesses got time with the Hon. Bruce Billson who explained the mission of the Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman.
