East Water Tower

Take an East Water Tower virtual tour to explore the State Heritage Listed structure which was commissioned on 19 September 1902 as Bundaberg’s first reticulated water supply.

The tower is the only known cylindrical brick water tower in Queensland.

Today, it has been decommissioned but remains relevant through its continued use as a communications tower, cutting an imposing and iconic figure on the Bundaberg CBD skyline.

Standing eight storeys high, the tower’s unique design ensures it continues to be adored by residents and visitors alike as a State Heritage Listed building and engineering marvel.

Take a look at this impressive facility in Council’s East Water Tower virtual tour available here.
