The Moncrieff Entertainment Centre has released its August – September program, with a number of exciting shows set to hit the stage.
With everything from singer Jess Hitchcock, Prada’s Clutch, The Sapphires and Fairytales on Ice, there is sure to be something for everyone within the program.
Jess Hitchcock will take to the stage this Thursday 18 August, with the award-winning opera singer and songwriter most recently the recipient of the Smuggler of Light Indigenous Music and Media Award in 2019.

Jess Hitchcock: Unbreakable
Award-winning opera singer and songwriter Jess Hitchcock is an Indigenous performer, composer and singer-songwriter with family origins from Saibai in the Torres Straits and Papua New Guinea.
Over the last six years Jess has been touring with Kate Miller-Heidke as her backing vocalist around Australia and in 2019 was with Kate at the Eurovision song contest in Israel.
The end of 2019 saw Jess tour with Paul Kelly and Kate Miller-Hiedke on Paul’s Making Gravy Tour.

The Sapphires
The Sapphires is one of Australia’s best-loved stories, winning multiple awards as a play, film and soundtrack album. The final challenge was to undertake a national tour of Australia.
Bringing the raw energy, fun and emotion of this story directly to stages like the Moncrieff, and across the nation.
The Sapphires is a funny, heart-warming tale inspired by the true story of writer Tony Briggs’ mother.
It is an energetic, fun, and engaging play that affirms life and the realisation of dreams.

Prada Clutch’s All Drag Revue
Flanked by gorgeous men, Australia’s six-foot something songstress Prada Clutch & her ‘girls’ pay tribute to the history of Aussie drag – in concert.
Revisit the good ol’ days with Les Girls in the 60s, sing along to classic disco hits and sashay into today with a celebration of chart-topping music icons that have inspired drag performers around the world.
Jam-packed with dazzling feathers, wigs, headpieces, costumes and performance, you will not forget this glittering drag spectacular.
Prada has headlined stage shows across Australia playing both regional and capital cities.

Fairytales on Ice
Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond our control the producers of Fairytales on Ice have had to cancel the performance at the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre.
Moncrieff Theatre staff will be contacting all patrons in due course to arrange for a full refund on all tickets purchased.
