Impact Community ACADEMY is excited to officially welcome students in Term 2, 2025.

As Principal Jenna Auer and teachers Steve Wroe and Nicole Anderson prepare to open the doors in less than a month, they are encouraging young people and their families who are ready to reconnect with their education in a flexible, supportive environment to reach out.

“Impact Community ACADEMY offers a unique opportunity for young people who have faced challenges with traditional schooling,” Jenna said.

“We believe in meeting students at their point of need, supporting them in every aspect of their education – academic, emotional, and social.

“We are here to help young people rebuild their confidence and empower them to become confident, self-advocates.”

Impact Community ACADEMY is ideal for students who:

  • Are of age to enrol in Grade 11
  • Need an alternative, supportive learning experience
  • Have faced barriers to engagement with education
  • Are ready to take control of their life and learning

Ms Auer said while places were limited, there were still some spots available.

“Term 2 is quickly approaching, and we are eager to welcome two classes of students who are ready for a fresh start,” she said.

Teachers, school staff, parents/caregivers and students are encouraged to complete relevant application forms as soon as possible.

Forms can be submitted online at impactcommunityacademy.qld.edu.au/studentenrolements/.
