Dedicated practitioner and Bundaberg woman Christine Marschke has just opened Bundy Oasis Hypnotherapy, offering a variety of wellness services to the community.
What inspired you to choose the Bundaberg Region as the location for your new business?
Bundaberg is more than just a place to do business—it’s a thriving, supportive community with a strong focus on health, wellness, and personal growth.
I chose Bundaberg because I believe in its people, its sense of community, and its potential for embracing holistic health solutions.
My goal is to make clinical hypnotherapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and life coaching accessible and effective for those who are ready to make lasting positive changes in their lives.
Having lived in the Bundaberg region for the last 15 years, I deeply understand the community and support local businesses wherever possible.
Can you provide an overview of the services your business will offer?
At Bundy Oasis Hypnotherapy, I offer clinical hypnotherapy, NLP, life coaching, and the Hummingbird Method, all designed to help individuals overcome personal challenges.
Whether it’s quitting smoking, managing anxiety, reducing chronic pain, improving sleep, or breaking unhealthy habits, my approach is tailored to each individual’s needs.
I will also be adding Zoom appointments to the schedule for those who are unable to attend face to face appointments.
Do you plan to celebrate your launch with the community?
To celebrate, I plan to host an open day, inviting locals to experience our tranquil space and gain insights into hypnotherapy.
I will be available to answer questions from interested individuals, addressing common misconceptions about hypnotherapy, such as the myth that it involves a loss of control or that only certain people can be hypnotized.
By clarifying these misunderstandings, I aim to educate the community on the true nature and benefits of hypnotherapy.
What positive experiences have shaped your journey in establishing this business and what are you most looking forward to?
Launching this business has been deeply fulfilling.
Hypnotherapy has changed my life, and I’ve witnessed its power in helping others break through barriers and achieve goals they once thought impossible.
I am most excited about creating a safe, welcoming space where clients can take control of their lives and rediscover their confidence and self-worth.

How can local residents and businesses support your new venture?
The best way for the Bundaberg community to support this venture is through word-of-mouth referrals, engaging with and sharing Bundy Oasis Hypnotherapy on social media, and exploring how hypnotherapy can benefit their lives.
Businesses can also partner with me to offer workplace wellness programs that help employees reduce stress, improve focus, and build resilience.
Additionally, I would love to offer a free monthly group session focused on improving self-concept for those who are less fortunate.
I would welcome collaboration from any local services that are interested in participating, ensuring greater access to personal development opportunities for those in need.
What message do you hope to convey to the local community as you embark on this exciting new chapter?
At Bundy Oasis Hypnotherapy, I want the Bundaberg community to know that positive change is within reach.
My services are designed to address a wide range of challenges, including stress and anxiety reduction, overcoming fears and phobias, breaking unwanted habits, enhancing self-confidence, improving sleep quality, pain management, and enhancing performance in areas like public speaking, sports, and academic pursuits.
By tailoring my approach to each individual’s needs, I aim to empower members of the Bundaberg community to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.
