The Move it Expo is back in 2025 with plenty of free fitness fun including an appearance from 2024 Paris Olympian Taryn Gollshewsky.

Council’s popular annual expo will take place at the Bundaberg Multiplex on 16 February from 10 am and showcase local sport, health and fitness opportunities from across the region.

Visitors can chat to more than 40 different stallholders, take part in sport and fitness activities and enjoy an exciting stage line up, including an interview session with the local discus star.

Community Liveability, Sport and Recreation portfolio spokesperson Councillor Carmen McEneany said it promised to be another great event.

“Move it Expo is a wonderful way to get to know all the different sport, health and wellness options available because it’s all there under one roof and free to attend,” she said.

“There is so much on offer, for example PCYC will be hosting a section showcasing all their programs from kids to seniors, so there really is something for everyone.

“There is also a great stage line up with everything from taekwondo to country square dancing and of course Bundaberg’s very own Olympic star Taryn Gollshewsky.”

Those who want to keep things moving can return later in the afternoon as the Multiplex opens its doors for the Move it Expo After Party from 4:30 pm.

“The After Party is always a highlight and this year we have carnival fitness from Baylando Latin Fusion as well as Zumba with Bec,” Cr McEneany said.

“The whole event is a great way for the community to come together and have some fun!”
