ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING:
All members of The Waves Bowls Club Bundaberg are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of the Club to be held in the bowls clubhouse on Saturday 1st March 2025 starting at 9am.
Nomination forms for committee and sub-committee positions can be obtained from the Club Secretary.
These completed forms, as well as any correspondence re business to be discussed at the AGM, need to be handed to Secretary Ron Witton by Friday 14th February at 5pm.
A list of sub-committee positions is on the whiteboard.
NOMINATIONS for Ladies Championship Singles are now open, closing and drawn on 7th February. First round to be played on 21st February.

Thursday 30th January: Night Bowls – names in by 6.00pm ready for a 6.30pm start. Anyone wishing to try Bowls for the first time will be most welcome. Great way to beat the heat and to meet new people. The ‘Pick the Joker’ Jackpot is played each week with the chance to win some cash – the Jackpot this week will be $769+.

CLUB NEWS
Club opening hours are – Monday (Club closed), Tuesday 10am – 5.30pm, Wednesday 11am – 9pm, Thursday 2pm – 9pm, Friday 10am – 9pm, Saturday 10am – 6pm (10pm for Functions) Sunday Bowls Days 9am – 2pm.
Friday 31st January – the Goose Club raffle will be drawn at 7.00pm – tickets are $1 each with 15+ prizes to be won. Tickets can be purchased from the bar or bought on the night.
The members draw will be conducted after the Goose Club draw and is currently $350 – members must be present at the draw to claim the cash. Live entertainment on Friday evening will be provided by ‘2E2’. So come down to the Club for a great night out with the chance to win some cash and raffle prizes. The Bistro is operating on an Interim Menu.
