Bundaberg Regional Council has released its 2025 meeting dates schedule with monthly briefing and ordinary meetings open to the public.
Community members can either attend or livestream the meetings to find out more about Council decisions.
The meetings form an integral part of Council’s planning, policy and decision-making process.
The first Ordinary meeting of Council for 2025 will be held on Tuesday 28 January 2025, commencing at 10 am.
Ordinary meetings will continue to be held monthly throughout the year, generally on the last Tuesday of each month at 10 am, and provide a formal setting where elected councillors discuss and decide on key issues affecting the region.
Briefing meetings will be held generally on the Tuesday preceding the Ordinary meeting of Council, commencing at 10 am.
These sessions are open to the public, allowing residents to observe the decision-making process firsthand.
These informal sessions allow councillors to receive updates from staff and discuss upcoming agenda items in a more casual setting, fostering a deeper understanding of the topics at hand.
Attend in person on 2025 meeting dates
Ordinary and briefing meetings are held in the Council Chambers within the main administration building at 190 Bourbong Street, Bundaberg.
While public attendance is permitted, active participation is generally limited to councillors and invited guests.
