4WD Supacentre has officially opened its doors in Bundaberg, bringing a wide range of off-road gear, accessories, and expert services to local adventurers and four-wheel-drive enthusiasts.

The new addition to Johanna Boulevard promises to be a one-stop shop for all things 4WD, offering top-quality products and tailored solutions to help customers make the most of their outdoor adventures.

The retailer now has over 30 stores Australia wide.

4WD Supacentre Local Area Marketing Specialist Eve Griffin said she was excited to welcome the community for the grand opening, with celebrations set to continue tomorrow.

What inspired you to choose the Bundaberg Region as the location for your new business, and how do you see it fitting into the local landscape?

We chose Bundaberg because we are committed to selecting the best locations for our customers.

Regional Queensland has a strong 4WD and camping community, and we felt they truly deserved to have their own dedicated store.

We believe Bundaberg is the perfect fit for our business, and we’re excited to contribute to the local landscape by providing a convenient, accessible option for outdoor enthusiasts in the area.

Can you provide an overview of the unique products or services your business will offer and how they cater to local needs?

4WD Supacentre is a nationally recognised brand with over 31 stores across Australia… and growing!

We are the home of Adventure Kings, specialising in a large range of outdoor, camping and 4WD gear.

Our company was founded on the belief that all Aussies and Kiwis were being charged way too much for their camping gear, so our focus has always been on delivering value for money like no other.

We are a discounter that provides daily deals.

We cut out the ‘middle man’ and pass on the savings to all our customers.

Every single one of our over 300 (and growing) products is highly rated, quality tested and designed to be the best value for money in the market – tough, durable, reliable, and fit for purpose, but without the inflated premiums and bloated costs of brands that are often two and three times the price without any functional difference or advantage.

What milestones have you achieved in the lead-up to your opening and how do you plan to celebrate your launch with the community?

The opening of our Bundaberg location marks our fourth store launch this year—an incredible achievement for us!

We’re proud to expand our reach and offer discounted prices nationwide, making our products accessible for everyone across Australia to enjoy.

What positive experiences have shaped your journey in establishing this business, and what are you most looking forward to once you open your doors?

The support from the Bundaberg community has been a major highlight in our journey.

From local involvement in the opening through entertainment and fundraising sausage sizzles, to the overwhelming enthusiasm, we’ve felt truly welcomed.

We’re excited to meet the community in person and help encourage everyone to get outdoors, all while keeping it affordable and accessible for all!

How do you envision your business contributing to job creation and the local economy in Bundaberg?

At 4WD Supacentre, we’re committed to creating job opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts and providing a welcoming space for locals.

By expanding our team and fostering a strong connection with the Bundaberg community, we aim to contribute to local job creation.

Additionally, we offer room for growth within the business, ensuring that as we grow, so does our positive impact on the local economy.

What message do you hope to convey to the local community as you embark on this exciting new chapter?

We’re excited to let the Bundaberg community know that the discount kings have arrived, and we’re here to help everyone get out and enjoy the great outdoors.

Our goal is to make outdoor adventures more accessible and affordable for all, and we can’t wait to be a part of your journey!

Where are you located and how can the community find out more or contact you?

We are located at 50/52 Johanna Boulevard, Kensington QLD 4670 and you can follow us on our socials! @4wd_supacentre_bundaberg,  @4wd_supacentre @adventurekingsgear .

  1. Next up Myer & David Jones our unemployment being well down at record lows indicates we can afford to shop at higher end stores now. I know not all of us could afford to shop there but enough of us probably can to add them as employers that would further boost our economy. It’s a huge problem that when I go shopping there’s nothing I would like to buy.

    My expenses look like this

    $9100/PA Rent (my share)
$10000/PA Food & Bills (my share)
$20,000/PA savings much of this gets spent online.
    $11,000/PA spent completely online

This means most of my income will be spent online & not in our town. If we could get more of this spend in our shops it would be great.
