More than $15,000 has been raised for the Royal Flying Doctor Service after Bundaberg teams put their strength to the test in the ultimate Plane Pull Challenge.
On Sunday, local teams from around the region were tasked with pulling an RFDS plane in the quickest possible time over a 24-metre stretch; one metre for every RFDS plane flying across Queensland.
The highest fundraisers were Brothers Sports Club, raising over $3,700.
The winners, with the fastest time, was the Murchie Constructions team at 14.36 seconds.
Fruit and Vege Flyers from the Bundaberg Fruit and Vegetable Growers came in at second with their time of 15.00 seconds while third place was taken by Carve Industries with 17.02 seconds.
