Singers, dancers, bands and performers, whether new to the industry or a seasoned entertainer, can submit their expression of interest to take part in next year’s Childers Festival.
With a crowd of thousands converging on the region in the last weekend in July each year to celebrate the festival, performers of all skillsets are needed to keep event-goers entertained.
Childers Festival is famous for stopping the Bruce Highway and its high quality entertainment lineup.
In 2024, approximately 30,000 people from around Australia flocked to Childers for the four-day festival to be entertained by 36 artists from a wide variety of genres and backgrounds.
The callout presents an opportunity for local artists to have their talents showcased alongside headlining music legends which in previous years included Kate Ceberano, Dragon, The Black Sorrows and The Bondi Cigars.
Performers and entertainers are invited to submit an expression of interest here.
Applications close 12 noon on Friday 6 December 2024.
Childers Festival event expressions of interest now open
The festival that stops the highway is accompanied by four days of events designed to highlight the unique offerings of Childers, including festival favourites Sugar Mill and Cane Fire Tours and Opera by the Lake.
Expressions of interest are now open for those interested in hosting an event within the festival.
Submissions are open for events designed to showcase the Childers region through dining experiences, markets, sporting events, performances, etc.
Event hosts are invited to submit an expression of interest here.
Applications close 12 noon on Friday 10 January 2024.
Childers Festival will be held from 24 to 27 July 2025.
