Asphalt Resurfacing Program 2024-2025
Motorists and cyclists are advised that sections of the following roads will be closed to all traffic during 25 September – 29 November 2024, weather permitting, for road resurfacing works. Works in these areas will take 1 – 3 days to complete when the contractor has commenced works onsite.
Daytime works 6.30 am – 6 pm Monday to Friday (Saturday works if required)
– Rehbein Avenue, Qunaba
– Bayview Terrace, Qunaba
– Meghan Crescent, Qunaba
– Bowden Street, Qunaba
– De Gunst Street, Kepnock
Night time works 6 pm – 5 am Sunday to Friday
– Steptoe Street, Bundaberg East
– Woondooma Street, Bundaberg Central (Targo to Toonburra Street)
– Woongarra Street, Bundaberg Central (Toonburra to Walla Street) (Walla to Tantitha Street)
– Commercial Street, Kensington (Airport Roundabout to Enterprise Street Roundabout)
– Ashby Lane, Childers
– Stewart Street/Churchill Street Service Road, Childers
Works will be carried out by Boral Resources (QLD) Pty Ltd. using Traffic Control and some road closures allowing access to local traffic
only. Access to private properties adjoining the work areas will be maintained during the construction period. Residents can expect changes to traffic conditions during this time and delays may be experienced.
Affected residents will be notified of works prior to activities commencing via a letterbox drop. Boral Resources (QLD) will provide suitable
arrangements to maintain waste collection services where these are provided, during the construction period.
