Spring School Holiday Guide
There are plenty of free and fun activities available across the region through Council’s Spring School Holiday Guide.

Kids across the region can keep busy these school holidays with plenty of free and fun activities on offer through Bundaberg Regional Council’s Spring School Holiday Guide.

From outdoor options like catching water bugs and making frog hotels, to gaming and craft sessions at local libraries, the program has a little something for everyone.

Parents and caregivers can access the full guide at What’s On Bundaberg here.

An event not to be missed is the rescheduled Flourish Family Fun Day which takes place at Boreham Park on 26 September from 9 am to 1 pm.

This family favourite includes the Welcome Baby Celebration and will feature stalls, food vendors, a petting zoo and a teddy bear parade with prizes to be won.

Another community favourite is the free school holiday movie, with the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre screening The Amazing Maurice on 18 September at 10.30 am.

The film tells the story of streetwise tomcat Maurice who comes up with the perfect scam to find his very own pied piper and plague of rats to trick the townspeople into giving him all their money.

Those after some live entertainment can enjoy the Pops n Pals Ventriloquist show where kids between the ages of 6 and 12 years can watch puppets come alive before their eyes.

Pops and his Pals will perform at the Gin Gin, Bundaberg and Childers libraries and while all three shows are free, bookings are required.

For a full list of activities on offer, visit the Council Spring School Holiday Guide on What’s On Bundaberg here.
