It’s time to shine this weekend as the annual Bundaberg Ability Ball takes place at the Bundaberg Multiplex on Saturday 7 September.
Hosted by Community Lifestyle Support, the popular event aims to bring the community together to uplift and celebrate people’s abilities.
Community Lifestyle Support Events Manager Trevor Sands said they were excited to host their biggest Ability Ball yet.
“This is the 11th year the Bundaberg Ability Ball has been going, from 60 guests at the fist one at the Brothers Sports Club to now hitting our biggest one yet with just under 600 guests,” Trevor said.
“This event is really well supported by the community and we have great sponsors on board including Sugarland Plaza, JRZ Homes, Cabinet Connections and Rhino Support Coordination.”
Trevor said this year’s entertainment would include a big stadium rock show as well as stars from the cast of Home and Away.
“Our Home and Away guests are Tristan Gorey and Haily Pinto who are both very excited to hit the dance floor with everyone,” Trevor said.
“This event is a great opportunity to put on a ball gown or suit and tie and hit the red carpet.
“The Ability Ball over the years has created memories for so many families and we will continue to do so.”
