Get the popcorn ready because the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre will be hosting a free community screening of the highly anticipated Australian film, Force of Nature – The Dry 2 this August.
This gripping sequel to the 2021 box office hit The Dry, promises to captivate audiences with its intense storyline and stellar cast.
Bundaberg Regional Council Arts, Heritage and Asset Management portfolio spokesperson Cr John Learmonth said the free community movie was the perfect opportunity for residents to get together to enjoy a morning at the theatre.
“It’s a chance for residents to enjoy some great entertainment in a relaxed atmosphere and is a fun, cost-free activity that Council is proud to host to support our community,” he said.
Federal Agents Aaron Falk and Carmen Cooper, played by Eric Bana and Anna Torv, receive a distressing call from an informant.
They venture deep into the Giralang Ranges to investigate the mysterious disappearance of corporate whistle-blower Alice during a company hiking retreat.
The four women recovered from the bush each seem to be hiding something about their traumatic experience.
As Falk and Cooper close in on the case, they uncover worrying details about the connections between these women and begin to fear for the safety of their missing informant, all while a storm threatens to halt the search.
Directed by Robert Connolly, Force of Nature – The Dry 2 features an impressive cast including Eric Bana, Anna Torv, Deborah-lee Furness, Robin McLeavy and more.
