Childers Festival Bollywood
Crescent Street in Childers will come alive with a vibrant celebration of Bollywood as part of the Childers Festival’s Saturday program.

Celebrate Bollywood at this year’s Childers Festival with a range of Bollywood inspired performances and workshops on Saturday 27 July.

Crescent Street presents: Bollywood

Crescent Street presents: Bollywood is an afternoon and evening of music, dance, and colour, running from 3 to 9 pm, featuring an appearance from Australian Bollywood star Tania Zaetta.

Indian Malayali Community in Bundaberg presents a traditional performance that combines powerful percussive beats with vibrant melodies.

Learn all the moves from Brisbane’s premier Bollywood Dance Company, Dance Masala, in an uplifting and interactive dance workshop.

Enjoy the festival atmosphere throughout the afternoon with DJ Desi, Happiness Yoga, and Henna workshop, and keep an eye out for Eesha Elephant, an amazingly lifelike puppetry elephant that will wander amongst the crowd.

As the sun sets, the entertainment on the Crescent Street stage continues with SoulCutz’ cabaret style performance with a repertoire spanning decades of musical greats.

Magic Carpet Ride will then take the audience on a trip through classic rock, party tunes and Aussie favourites with a three piece brass section, powerhouse vocals and loads of energy sure to get the audience up and dancing.
