When it comes to kicking back and relaxing in style, Taste Bundaberg Festival has some great events on offer that capture the laidback pleasure of dining outdoors.
Picnic in some of the most beautiful locations around Bundaberg as part of the 10 day festival celebrating the region’s chefs, growers and producers.
Beneath the macadamias
Macadamias Australia returns with the popular Farm Flavours Picnic, set in the picturesque grounds of an established macadamia orchard.
Highlighting fresh, seasonal, local produce, guests will enjoy a menu that showcases the region’s signature nut, macadamias.
Picnic blankets and deck chairs will be scattered around the manicured lawn and under the shade of rows of mature macadamia trees, creating a charming atmosphere to while away a few hours in delightful company.
Held on Sunday 1 September, the Farm Flavours Picnic is a perfect place to enjoy a day out with the family for Father’s Day.
Sweet delights
The Garden Mill Café brings sweet treats and bags of fun to the festival program with the family favourite Candyland Picnic.
Set in the café’s garden, children and the young at heart can enjoy the excitement of a treasure hunt, lawn games, live entertainment and lolly bags supplied by Cha Cha Chocolate.
The picnic menu incorporates the freshest local ingredients, making the event something for the whole family to enjoy.
Date night under the stars
Take in the sights of a beautiful Bundaberg location under the stars at a Date Night Mystery Pop Up Picnic.
Elegantly styled and catered, each picnic arrangement includes a delicious charcuterie platter filled with local produce, a bottle of sparkling, and a fresh bunch of local flowers to take home.
The location is disclosed to guests 48 hours before, adding an element of intrigue and magic for a special night out.
