Local businesses are invited to dust off their golf clubs and have a swing at supporting the ever-popular Carinbundi Foundation annual charity golf day.
Community relations Manager Tina Marshall said this year local businesses could get on board with a Friday afternoon of golf, fun and fundraising.
“Why not take the opportunity to sneak in another round in for the week, while supporting an excellent cause?” Tina said.
“The Carinbundi Foundation was established to support people with a disability to live independently in quality homes, at rents that are discounted from the open market rate.
“Our mission is to provide quality and affordable homes for life, and because we own the properties, we can support people in secure homes for as long as they are wanted or needed.”
She congratulated local technology solutions provider IT&C on being a foundation sponsor of the event.
“The golf day is a fantastic opportunity for business and community to come together and have some fun, whilst raising funds that will make a real difference in someone’s life,” she said.
IT&C Technical Account Manager Damien Cocker said supporting the Carinbundi Foundation’s Charity Golf Day aligns with their commitment to giving back to the community.
“Ensuring access to affordable homes is crucial, especially in today’s property market,” he said.
“We’re proud to be part of this initiative that offers long-term security and peace of mind to residents and their families.
“Let’s come together as a community and make a positive impact through this major fundraiser.”
Playing or not, local businesses can support the day by sponsoring a hole for $295 without a team or $500 with a team, or by making a tax-deductible donation.
The event will tee off at 11 am with a four person Ambrose game, at Bundaberg Golf Club. There will be raffles and other fun activities, all with fantastic prizes on offer.
