Set to kick off this year’s Childers Festival, the intimate twilight market promises an evening of food, entertainment, art and fashion for visitors and locals alike.
The Twilight Markets will showcase the talents of the region as local artisans and crafters will be at the forefront, presenting unique handmade items that reflect the creativity and talent from within the community.
Held at a new location this year, the Twilight Market will offer a wonderful opportunity for attendees to support small businesses and discover one-of-a-kind treasures.
Community Events Management, in conjunction with Bundaberg Regional Council, will host the Twilight Market.
Community Events Management owners Mark and Nat Albert said they were both excited to have the wonderful evening event return after its inauguration last year.
“This event is smaller than the main day event, but it gives a lot of local market stall holders the opportunity to be part of it, while providing locals with the chance to take in the first night of Childers Festival,” Mark said.
“This year we have moved the event from Childers Showground onto Crescent Street and we are utilising the street and both carparks which means we will a large array of food, local stallholders and some stallholders who have travelled from surrounding areas.”
The Twilight Market will be held on Thursday 25 July from 4 pm to 9 pm at Crescent Street, Childers.
