Jig into the night with A Taste of Ireland

Taste of Ireland
A Taste of Ireland is an immersive journey into Irish culture, music and dance and will be at the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre in June.

After a sold out 2023 UK tour, A Taste of Ireland – The Irish Music and Dance Sensation will have the audience entertained through the night when they perform at the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre.

The show is an immersive journey into Irish culture, music and dance and is filled with authenticity, energy and all the magic of the Emerald Isle.

Lightning-fast taps, intricate beats and an electrifying all-male acapella number will be showcased during the performance.

Lots of humour is infused into the show, embodying the Irish concept of ‘the craic’, that ensures plenty of laughter and enjoyment for patrons.

A Taste of Ireland producer Ceili Moore said their last performance in Bundaberg was three years ago and it is likely to be the last time the show will be performed here for a while.

“For this year’s performance we have brought some of the world’s best Irish dancers and musicians, including nine-time world champion Alliyah O’Hare, Gavin Shevlin, a two-time world champion from both Riverdance and Lord of the Dance and multiple other world champions,” Ceili said.

“Coming direct from Off-Broadway, the show has developed hugely in the last three years, and we can’t wait to bring it to Bundaberg.

“Irish dancing is a very unique sport or art form.

“You have to be as fit as a footballer but as pretty as a ballerina which is very tricky to do.

“Additionally, the music just makes you feel good and want to get up and dance.

“I think those are just a few things that make it so compelling, but additionally the humour and storytelling elements that A Taste of Ireland brings to the stage also makes it unique to other Irish productions.”
