Community members are encouraged to have their say and help shape local policy by taking part in the Bundaberg’s Views survey.
Administered by the ‘.id – informed decisions’ reporting platform on behalf of Bundaberg Regional Council, the survey aims to provide insights which will integrate the community’s views into Council’s policy work.
The survey is available here and will take about seven minutes to complete, with all participants going into a draw to win one of five $100 Eftpos vouchers.
Community members will be asked what they believe makes somewhere a good place to live, how they experience their local area and what they think needs to happen to improve their quality of life.
There will be standard questions to cover a nationally benchmarked range of topics as well as customised questions specific to the Bundaberg Region.
Bundaberg Mayor Helen Blackburn said the insights from the survey would be invaluable in helping to inform Council policy.
“I encourage all members of the community to participate in the survey and have their say about what matters most to them,” said Mayor Blackburn.
“For just ten minutes of your time, you can help shape Council’s community development strategy so we can deliver what you really want and need.
“Community members are our local experts and we need your insights to frame what is really important to those who call the Bundaberg Region home.”
Neighbourhood centres and home care teams will be equipped to assist those who are unable to access the survey online and Council’s Community Development team can also provide hard copies and help with questions if needed.
