Beloved personalities from Bundaberg will grace the television screens of homes across the nation on Channel Nine’s lifestyle program, My Way.
The television show will share the stories of Tina and Bruce McPherson of Tinaberries, Rick and Kylie Prosser of Kalki Moon Distilling, Joey Caruana and Kirsty Rogers of The Garden Mill, and the Fleming family behind Bundaberg Brewed Drinks.
The stories will air in Queensland on Sunday 24 March and then will be televised nationally the following week, giving Australia a glimpse into some of the delicious and authentic experiences on offer in the Bundaberg Region.
Bundaberg Brewed Drinks Founder and Master Brewer Cliff Fleming share his pride in the region.
“We are so proud to call Bundaberg our home,” he said.
“Any chance that we can tell our story to help promote our wonderful region is a story well told.”
My Way captures the stories of Queensland, giving real people the chance to tell their own stories, share their passions, and to say “I’m doing this My Way’’.
Bundaberg Tourism, with support from Bundaberg Brewed Drinks, worked with the My Way team to return to the Bundaberg Region in February to celebrate the destination’s identity as the nation’s tastiest food bowl.
Bundaberg Tourism’s Marketing Coordinator Connie Rixon said the show provided a captivating platform that showcase the region’s stories on a national stage.
“Bundaberg has always been celebrated for its genuine hospitality and the incredible individuals who call it home,” she said.
“Our tourism industry thrives thanks to the passionate and dedicated people who share their stories and in turn cultivate transformative experience.”
My Way has a weekly viewing audience of 595,300+ and a whole-of-season audience of 2.2 million viewers.
Catch the Bundaberg episode live on Channel 9 Sunday 24 March at 5.30 pm (Queensland time) and on the 9Now app and Channel 9 YouTube channel afterwards.
