Bundaberg is officially home to one of Domino’s most generous stores in Australia and New Zealand, with the local pizza store taking home the Domino’s for Good Award at the company’s annual awards ceremony.

Recognised for their admirable contributions to their local community, the award goes to just one store across Australia and New Zealand.

From supporting the cancer unit at Bundaberg Hospital for Breast Cancer Awareness Month to delivering hot and fresh pizzas alongside plenty of toys to children in the paediatric ward over Christmas, Domino’s Bundaberg are always going above and beyond.

Throughout just 12 months, Domino’s Bundaberg impressively donated 3,694 pizzas to those in need within their local community through Domino’s Feed the Knead Program, placing them as number one for Feed the Knead donations in Australia.

The award celebrates the Domino’s store that truly embraces the Company’s Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) values through multiple proactive actions within the five Domino’s for Good pillars – customers, environment, food, community and people.

Domino’s Bundaberg franchise partners Thomas and Kechel Walker said they were proud to be doing the right thing because it’s the right thing to do.

“On behalf of the entire team at Domino’s Bundaberg, we are deeply honoured to receive the Domino’s for Good Award,” Thomas said.

“Giving back to our local community whilst moving one step closer to Domino’s ESG goals is at the very core of our business.

“Being able to delight our customers and make a difference to those in need through the simple pleasure of pizza is truly special.

“It’s a pinch-me reality that we cherish.

“Thank you to our incredible community who embrace our business with open arms – we are excited to continue our dedication to supporting our customers, our community, and our core values to create waves of change.”

Domino’s Bundaberg will also soon mark 26 years in business.
