The Bundaberg Business Women’s Network (BBWN) will be hosting the second annual EmpowerHER MarketFest, celebrating female entrepreneurship across the region.
The event, which takes place at the Bundaberg Multiplex on 9 March, is free and open to everyone and will feature market stalls, food and bar services and a fashion parade.
EmpowerHER MarketFest aims to champion the spirit of women in business, foster entrepreneurial growth and create a space to share ideas, experiences and collaborations.
BBWN President Lee-Ann Wilson said this year’s event built on their inaugural market held in March last year and that there would be something for everyone on the day.
“We decided it was time to try something new and get other women in business involved even if they were not members,” Lee-Ann said.
“We decided to go bigger and better this year with 90 stalls.
“The aim of the event is to showcase all women in business, regardless of whether they have a product or service-based business.”
Visitors to the event will be given the opportunity to network and engage with professionals and business owners from across the Wide Bay Region and join the BBWN in honoring the achievements and potential of the female entrepreneurs in the community.
Stallholder positions are still open with applications available here.
