Free governance workshops help local clubs

Community Grants - Workshop
The free workshop will be held next month.

Local small not-for-profit groups and clubs are invited to attend a free governance and planning development workshop next month.

Bundaberg Regional Council will host a governance and strategic planning development workshop for interested parties on Saturday 2 March.

Presented by NFP For Success, this three-hour workshop will help the region’s clubs in two streams.

The Governance and Strategic Planning Development Community Workshop will help guide volunteers and committee members through the process of good governance principles in their organisation.

First the workshops will cover governance fundamentals for committees, followed by a focused on strategic planning development.

Not-for-profit community groups play a vital role in the community and these workshops are a means by which a lot of the worry can be removed from committee or board participation simply through shared knowledge.

Attendees will be provided with a DIY Strategic Planning Kit for ongoing use within their organisation.

The workshop is free and registration is essential by clicking here.
