One of the world’s most iconic and loved musicals, Grease, is coming to Bundaberg’s Playhouse Theatre in March.
Featuring a cast of Playhouse favourites and some fresh new faces, Grease will play for an extended season of 12 performances over three weeks from 8 March.
Director Bex Hutchins said the cast and crew can’t wait to invite audiences to join in the magic of Grease.
“Nothing beats the feeling you get, going back to Rydell High,” Bex said.
“Danny, Sandy, Kenickie, Rizzo and the whole gang are back to give you a night out, like only Grease can.
“Get ready to be transported to a world of high school romance, unforgettable music, and pure, unadulterated fun!”
Sam Brisbane as Danny Zuko and Stella Hutchins as Sandy Dumbrowski will lead the talented cast.
“As well as our leads we have an amazing ensemble who have been learning the songs and dances since last year – they will literally knock the audiences socks off,” Bex said.
Friday and Saturday night performances will start at 7.30 pm and Sunday matinees at 3 pm.
As part of the extended season, Wednesday and Thursday night performances will start at 6.30 pm.
“We have extended the season to Wednesday and Thursday nights because we have already had such interest in Grease,” Bex said.
“These nights will start at 6.30 pm so families can get home early on school nights.”
Although Grease isn’t part of the Subscription season, 2024 Subscribers can enjoy priority bookings from 10 am Saturday 17 February.
General Bookings open 10 am Sunday 18 February online and at the box office at the Playhouse Theatre, 2b Steffensen Street.
