Much-loved comedian, television host and social media sensation Jimmy Rees is bringing his Let’s Get Regional tour to the Moncrieff Entertainment Centre.
Jimmy Rees said after touring metro cities over the last few years, he couldn’t be more pumped to be bringing a new live show to many local towns around the country.
“Some places I’m visiting and performing at for the very first time,” he said.

Beginning his career as the legendary Jimmy Giggle on the award-winning ABC Kid’s TV series, Giggle & Hoot, Jimmy spent a decade as the face of the iconic series, notching up daily airtime on the ABC, sell-out live performances, an iTunes number one Christmas album and more.
It wasn’t until the Covid-19 pandemic when Jimmy really solidified his personal reinvention, leaving Jimmy Giggle in the rear-view mirror.
In Melbourne during the extended lockdown Jimmy started releasing comedy content which resonated around the world, gathering 4 million social media followers, 43 million likes on TikTok and an extraordinary 200 million viewing minutes last year on Facebook alone.
He became a viral sensation in the truest sense with his quick-witted comedy sketches drawing massive audiences, from adoring kids to like-minded adults.
In 2022 Jimmy went on his first headline tour, Meanwhile in Australia.
Announcing five shows the tour grew to 34 sold-out shows in the major cities, making it one of the biggest comedy tours of recent years.
Encouraged by the nation’s enthusiasm, Jimmy toured the major cities again last year with his Not That Kinda Viral tour and again the demand was extraordinary with Jimmy taking on another 24 performances.
The Let’s Get Regional tour will be performed at Moncrieff Entertainment Centre next year and follows the incredible success of Jimmy’s recently completed Not That Kinda Viral tour.
