The next Bundaberg Business Breakfast will take place at the Gin Gin Community Hub on 26 September with a focus on business resilience.

An initiative of the Bundaberg Regional Council, the breakfast meeting series allow the region’s business community to network, collaborate and learn from experts across a range of industries.

The September event will focus on how building stronger communities enables business resilience and aims to equip attendees with practical strategies for sustainable success.

Speakers include ‘The Unbreakable Farmer’ Warren Davies and Regional Business HQ General Manager Brooke Fossey.

Warren is one of Australia’s leading rural mental health speakers and he will share the journey of his own battles with hitting rock bottom, as well as the lessons he learnt as he pieced his life together again.

While Warren has never had a speaking engagement in Bundaberg before, he has visited the region including a family holiday to Gin Gin as a child, and said he was looking forward to returning.

“Like when visiting any community I get to speak in, it’s the connection with the people that I look forward to foremost,” Warren said.

“Engaging with people through my story is important to me.

“Guests will come away from my presentation with tools and strategies to use either to help themselves or the people around them lead a more balanced life and in turn develop a more resilient community.”

Also speaking will be Regional Business HQ General Manager Brooke Fossey who specialises in business planning, marketing and tendering.

Brooke will offer attendees practical advice on business resilience drawing on her wealth of experience leading her team to strengthen local industries and sustain regional employment.
