Bundaberg Regional Council is offering a range of free school holiday activities to help families keep the kids entertained these holidays.
With activities ranging from a skate park competition to nature-based activities, arts and crafts to zookeeper talks, there will be something for all ages and interests.
The popular ‘Skills and Drills’ program has returned, where primary school aged children can try a variety of sports skills and physical activities (bookings required).
Nature loving children can dip a net into the water with the Council Natural Areas team and learn more about water bugs, biodiversity and aquatic environments at Baldwin Swamp Environmental Park.
Bundaberg Regional Libraries has a variety of programs available from making sun catchers and bedazzling crowns to enjoying board games, Lego building and virtual reality sessions.
Moncrieff Entertainment Centre will host a free screening of the popular animated movie ‘DC League of Pets’ on Wednesday 20 September.
Many events are open to all ages however some are age-restricted and some require pre-booking.
