Taste Farmers Market
Taking place at the Bundaberg Recreational Precinct this weekend, the popular Taste market event is back and better than ever, showcasing the abundant offerings from Australia’s food bowl as well as products crafted right here in the region.

Food enthusiasts, get ready to feast your eyes and fill your pantry with the finest culinary delights at the Taste Bundaberg Festival Market.

Taking place at the Bundaberg Recreational Precinct on Saturday 5 August, the popular event is back and better than ever, showcasing the abundant offerings from Australia’s food bowl as well as products crafted right here in the region.

As you stroll through the market you’ll be captivated by a cornucopia of fresh fruits and vegetables straight from the fields, trees, and vines.

Meats sourced directly from the paddock will also grace the stalls, highlighting the region’s diverse farming industry.

The market’s vibrant atmosphere will be alive with clever culinary creations on display and food vans serving up the tantalizing local flavours.

Bundaberg Regional Council Arts, Culture and Events portfolio spokesperson Cr John Learmonth said to top it off, celebrity chefs would be hands on, transforming the freshest of produce into new creations on the cooking demonstration stage.

“Celebrity chefs Mark Olive and Kirsten Tibballs will be in attendance to showcase their culinary prowess, using the market’s freshest ingredients to create mouthwatering dishes,” he said.

“You’ll be left in awe as they transform our produce into extraordinary dishes.”

Cr Learmonth said the Taste Bundaberg Market would offer more than just delicious food.

“It’s an opportunity to connect with passionate producers and learn about the love and dedication that goes into growing the best-of-the-best fare right here in Bundaberg,” he said.

“Speak to the farmers, producers and businesses directly, and you’ll discover the beauty and bounty of the region through their eyes.”

Mark your calendars for Saturday 5 August and get ready to explore the Taste Bundaberg Festival Market from 7 am to 2 pm at the Bundaberg Recreational Precinct.
