Knowing how to access the region’s four public libraries gives residents access to a fantastic catalogue of books plus a range of other services and information, including kids’ programs, technology and heritage registers.

The four Council-operated libraries in the Bundaberg Region are located at Bundaberg, Childers, Gin Gin and Woodgate.

How to access libraries:

Bundaberg Library
49 Woondooma Street, Bundaberg
Hours: 9.30 am to 5 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 9.30 am to 6 pm Thursday, and 9 am to 1 pm Saturday.

Childers Library

Hours: 9 am to 12.30 pm and 1.30 pm to 5 pm Monday to Friday, and 9 am to noon Saturday.

Gin Gin Library

Hours: 8.15 am to 4.45 pm Monday to Friday and 9 am to 11.30 am Saturday

Woodgate Library

Hours: 10 am to 2 pm Wednesday
