Detours will be in place when work begins along Cummins Road next month as Bundaberg Regional Council replaces a culvert in the Branyan area.
Work is planned to commence 5 June 2023 and will be undertaken on weekdays, during the hours of 6 am and 5 pm.
Weather permitting, work will be completed within two weeks of commencement.
Cummins Road will be fully closed to traffic during the replacement works.
Detour routes will be in operation via Paradise Lane, Hutchins Street and Samuels Road.
The detour will be signed accordingly and traffic management measures will be in place to guide motorists.
The site supervisor will liaise with directly affected property owners to facilitate property access during construction.
Bundaberg Regional Council is aware of the inconvenience the construction works may cause and thanks residents and road users in advance for their patience and co-operation.
