Lake Redbrook is set to come alive with the voices of The 7 Sopranos for a special performance and picnic-style affair as part of the Childers Festival Opera by the Lake event in July.
The highly successful group of professional young opera and musical theatre singers have been combining their breathtaking voices, high glamour and sophistication to wow audiences internationally for over a decade.
Their debut album, released by ABC Music, went to the top of the ARIA charts when it was released in the cross-over and classical categories.
Now, they will grace the Lake Redbrook stage for a special Childers Festival concert that will include songs from Carmen, La Boheme, The Marriage of Figaro and musicals such as Westside Story, family favourites from Disney movies and musicals, and beloved Sondheim classics.
While listening to the beautiful voices, eventgoers will also be treated to a local wine or two and other refreshments in a picnic-style set up with perfect views of Lake Redbrook.
Theresa Famularo, Producer of The 7 Sopranos, said the group was delighted to be performing for Childers Festival as part of Opera by the Lake.
“The audience can expect to be taken on a musical journey from operatic favourites to beloved musical theatre tunes and famous songs with the added bonus of glamour and flair,” she said.
