There are plenty of opportunities for community members to enjoy sport in the region and Bundaberg Regional Council is committed to providing sporting facilities of a high standard.
These sporting facilities include:
- Salter Oval – the home of rugby league and cricket
- Bundaberg Super Park – $3.5 million regional athletic facility with a full synthetic athletic surface and 12 court synthetic netball facility
- Hinkler Park – synthetic turf surface
- Bundaberg Multiplex with indoor multi-sport courts
Sporting grounds and venues are spread throughout the region, enabling residents and visitors to have easy access to a wide variety of sporting activities including cricket, Australian Rules football, softball, football, rugby league, touch, hockey, basketball, shooting, karting and much more.
Council also owns a number of pools throughout the region.
