Tickets are now on sale for the second Bundaberg Business Breakfast with guest speakers from the Canterbury Bulldogs, Royal Flying Doctor Service and RACQ LifeFlight to share their advice with attendees.
The Bundaberg Regional Council initiative brings together the thriving business community to network, collaborate and learn from experts across the wide array of industries present throughout the region.
In March, sustainability was the topic at the inaugural Bundaberg Business Breakfast with attendees hearing from two experts in eco business, Ecotourism Australia and ecoBiz.
On Thursday 13 April, the second instalment will be held with attendees to learn more about developing commercial and charitable partnerships.
Aaron Warburton, Chief Executive Officer at Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs Rugby League Club, Russell Postle, Chairman at Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) and Dale Rethamel, Honorary Ambassador, Former Regional Advisory Committee RAC Chair and Deputy Chair, RACQ LifeFlight, will explain the benefits of commercial and charitable partnerships between organisations and how this benefits the entire region.
Russell said the breakfast would be a great opportunity to learn more about local charity groups.
“RFDS stands on the shoulders of our dedicated community and corporate partners,” Russell said.
“For 21 years the RFDS Bundaberg team have built strong partnerships across the Bundaberg Region that have helped transform the service.
“On Thursday we want to acknowledge the great support of the Bundaberg Regional Council, our major partners – Q Coal, Ergon Energy Retail and Woolworths and the many community partners like Rotary Club of Bundaberg and the Bundaberg Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association and the many family farms and businesses that have supported the new Aeromedical Base.
“We look forward to sharing our appreciation and partnership stories with the Bundaberg business community.”
