When there is a fault with public lighting or traffic and pedestrian signals, it is important to know who to report it to.

When there is a fault with public lighting or traffic and pedestrian signals, it is important to know who to report it to.

While Council manages some of the lights and signals, Ergon Energy and the Department of Transport and Main Roads manage others.

The following faults should be reported to the appropriate organisation:

Report a fault with street lighting

  • Contact Ergon Energy through their website or phone 13 74 66 .

Report a fault with lighting on Council property

  • To report a fault with streetscape lighting or park lighting, please contact Council’s customer service team on 1300 883 699.

Traffic and pedestrian signals

  • Council services a number of CBD locations, which can be found on the website here. You can report a fault to Council’s Customer Service team on 1300 883 699.
  • All other traffic and pedestrian signals in the Bundaberg Region are under the control of the Department of Transport and Main Roads and faults should be reported directly to TMR Bundaberg Office on 4154 0200.
