One of Australia’s largest truck and trailer dealerships has opened a Bundaberg branch to provide servicing and parts from the workshop in Bundaberg East.

CEO Paul Hurley said the business serviced all of Queensland and Northern NSW and recently had an opportunity to open a Bundaberg branch after the owners of Ken Landt Diesel had retired, leaving behind the perfect space at 104 Scotland Street.

“Brown and Hurley are excited to be in a position to now better service the Bundaberg Region with a full range of Paccar Parts products, along with quality technicians and an experienced parts team,” he said.

“The team in Bundaberg will have training in the Paccar brands over the coming months and look forward to having the opportunity to service existing and new customers in the region.

“Brown and Hurley wish Ken and Andrea from Ken Landt Diesel all the best in retirement.”

The Bundaberg branch of the truck franchise features 10 local employees including three administration staff, three parts staff and four service technicians.

Paul said the move to the region was part of the company’s ongoing growth, with the Bundaberg team joining more than 480 Brown and Hurley staff nation-wide.

“Over the past seventy-five years Brown and Hurley, a dual family-owned business, has grown to become one of Australia’s largest truck and trailer dealer networks,” he said.

“With strategically placed dealerships and more than 480 employees to serve its customers, Brown and Hurley provides trucking companies the full solution for trucks, trailers, spare parts, service and repairs, along with finance and rental equipment.”

Brown and Hurley Bundaberg is open from 7.30 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Find out more here.
